President Dean Garritson:
When Julie and I moved to Spartanburg more than a decade ago, we were awed by how deeply involved businesses were in the community.
The many businesses that provide jobs and benefits for tens of thousands in Spartanburg County also dig deep in their pockets to help neighbors in need.
We want to do our part too.
A part of every single cabin and each on site job goes to the Hope Center for Children.
The Hope Center for Children is committed to meeting a range of child and family needs in order to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect and build stable, healthy families. Their highly trained staff provides a safe and stable environment for children in crisis and also meets parents where they’re at – providing support and resources. The Hope Center staff believe that the best way to end child abuse in our community is to equip parents with the tools they need to overcome barriers and to teach strong values and life skills to the children they serve.
It’s a big goal. And a bigger problem.
But every log that we lay and door that we hang helps to feed, clothe and shelter another child.
Thank you for your orders, the work that you give us is helping many more than you know.
